Sandvik extra-fine
grain cemented carbide grades were developed to meet the exacting
demands placed on solid carbide tooling by modern technology.
This true sub-micron grain-size tungsten carbide alloy features:
- Hardness of 92.1 HRA
- Transverse rupture strength of 623,000 psi
- Precisely controlled grain size of 0.8 mm
Grade H10F offers a combination of strength and toughness unequalled by any other manufacturer. It is designed for an exceptionally wide range of applications, particularly where toughness and sharp edge profiles are needed. In addition, a special additive maximizes corrosion resistance without loss of toughness.
